Wild Leek River started in Burlington Vermont during the winter of 2017. Honing their chops at the local Honky-Tonk Tuesday, WLR got their start by playing country classics popularized by outlaw legends such as Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Merle Haggard. It wasn’t long before word got around that there was a new country outfit in town and they were invited to play events such as the Supertone Festival, in Hudson, New York, and the Demolition Derby at the Champlain Valley Fair. Meanwhile, the band had been sneaking some original songs written by singer, Ian Burton into the set. In the spring of 2019 they recorded a four song demo called “The Bacon EP.” Later that year, Gavin Greenwalt told the band he could no longer continue playing bass due to his responsibilities as a father. Fortunately, Andrew Stearns (Gold Town, Old Sky) was willing to take over. The band now prepares to record their first full length album

With opener Zach Bryson
"The One and Lonely" Zach Bryson writes songs and sings them, sometimes by himself and sometimes with his band The Meat Rack (not to be confused with the flat earth themed hardcore band "The Meat Rats"). He lives in New Orleans, LA but is often seen taking buses to gigs all across the world. If you want to pay him to play somewhere just email him and he'll do it. He'll do almost anything for money
