Rob Sanzone & The Familiars blend a mix of heartfelt originals and oddball covers paying homage to cult classic horror, punk rock and americana in a live performance that is sure to get the crowd screaming like banshees.  

Eclectic multi-instrumentalist, heart-on-the-sleeve singer/songwriter and frontman Rob Sanzone (Deep Red Records artist and co-frontman Berkshire county’s The Picky Bastards) has been prolifically making music with dozens of musical acts on stage and in the studio for over 25 years interspersed throughout a career of writing, performing and recording music with bands & artists as well as scoring music for films.  Drawing inspiration from a deep love of classic cinematic horror/sci fi films that collide with David Byrne/Randy Newman-like introspection and Tom Waits experimental tomfoolery, Sanzone’s songwriting leans into pulling back the cover to see what’s underneath, often revealing honest and emotionally sincere reflections of love, loss, darkness and light. 

Backed by a monster squad of eclectic musical misfits affectionately known as “The Familiars”, Joe Rose (Keys), Brian Kantor (Drums), Dave Christopolis (Bass) and Ty Gasek (Sax) bring all the energy needed to summon the dead out of their seats and onto the dance floor.
